Financial Accounting and Reporting
Financial Statements
We view our role in the financial reporting process as an opportunity to provide constructive solutions for optimizing your company's profitability and efficiency. We provide financial reporting on two levels of assurance.
Review Engagement - provides limited assurance your financial statements are materially correct and states that we are not aware of any material modifications that need to be made to bring them into compliance with the United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles or other reporting frameworks. A review is a process of analyzing financial statements by comparison with budgets, prior years, and industry statistics. A review also involves ratio analysis and inquiries of your company's management team. This type of service provides a higher level of assurance than a compilation. A review provides the advantage of a CPA's technical expertise without the additional work and expense of an audit.
Compilation Engagement - involves preparing financial statements in an appropriate format in accordance with the United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Cash and Tax Basis, and Other Comprehensive Basis of Accounting. A compilation engagement expresses no opinion or assurance about the financial statements.
